Houston's rematch with Atlanta centers on passing through pressure and finishing the next action. Denver's meeting with Golden State pairs an established interior attack with returning creators and productive supporting players. Both contests place real weight on the connections that remain when the first scoring option draws help.

Houston already showed several answers against Atlanta's pressure. Sengun and Sheppard each supplied seven assists, Thompson added another receiving and passing route, and seven Rockets reached double figures. Atlanta also created plenty through Johnson, so the direct meeting offers evidence of working attacks on both sides.

VanVleet is expected back after resting in that meeting, adding first-pass organization to Houston's existing receivers. Sheppard actually played a substantial role, while Smart and Adams remain absent after missing the same game. Landale remains available for Atlanta's frontcourt rotation.

I expect Houston to establish deliveries to Sengun and Durant, then retain shooting and movement through Sheppard, Bogdanovic and Eason as the lineup changes. Atlanta's pressure and Johnson's passing give the rematch its shape; Houston's observed receiving network, supplemented by another organizer, is why I'm siding with the Rockets to win.

Denver has an imposing connection through Murray and Jokic, with Gordon, Braun and Brazile finishing or extending possessions. Golden State brings observed support of its own: Melton, Williams and Lendeborg all supplied scoring and passing at Phoenix, while Ike and Bassey contributed inside.

Reported clearance for Curry, Podziemski, Green and Horford restores initial creation, the next pass and another frontcourt option after all four missed Phoenix. Denver's depleted wing rotation remains part of the matchup, with Johnson doubtful and Jones and Strawther out in the analysis reports.

I expect Denver to work repeatedly through Jokic, while Golden State makes its defenders follow successive actions around Curry and Green. The support players' recent contributions provide another route through the rotation changes, against a Denver team that allowed repeated interior chances before its New Orleans comeback. That combination is why I'm backing Golden State to stay within reach.
