Virtual Prediction Rules
Settlement uses version 3 from 2026-09-29 17:00 UTC
1. At a glance
- Predictions on betsgo-global use virtual UNITs only. 1 UNIT equals one virtual dollar. UNITs cannot be converted into cash, points or prizes, and cannot be bought or sold. No real money is involved.
- You choose the stake of each slip yourself (a whole number of UNITs from 1 to 1,000). Your stakes can add up to 3,000 UNITs per day (the day restarts at 00:00 UTC, and UNITs of cancelled slips still count toward that day's total). There is no limit on how many slips you create per day. When you reach a limit, the slip screen shows the most you can stake on this slip and the UNITs you have left today.
- The maximum winnings of a slip are 10,000 UNITs (winnings exclude your stake). A stake that would win more than this at the current total odds is not accepted; the slip screen shows the highest stake you can place.
- A slip contains one match (single) or up to 10 different matches (accumulator). You cannot combine two selections from the same match in one slip.
- The total odds of a slip cannot exceed 1,000×. Slips above this limit are not accepted.
- Slips are published immediately. You may cancel a slip only within 10 minutes of its first placement, and only before the earliest match in it has started. Slips cannot be edited: to change one, cancel it within 10 minutes and place a new slip.
- No in-play predictions: nothing can be placed after a match has started.
- Results are settled by us from the official match data we receive. Settlement rules are based on the published sports rules of bet365. Only the time limit for postponed matches (48 hours) is our own.
2. Placing and cancelling
- Pick a match from the match list or the prediction screen, choose a market (1X2, handicap, over/under and others), a selection and a stake, then submit.
- Two selections from the same match cannot be combined in one slip. Use separate slips.
- If the same account submits a combination with exactly the same matches, markets, lines and selections again, the second and later submissions are rejected, even if the odds have changed.
- Cancelling is possible only within 10 minutes of the first placement. After that, a slip cannot be changed for any reason. Slips cannot be edited: to change one, cancel it within 10 minutes and place a new slip, which is locked at the odds available at that moment.
- Cancelled slips are excluded from performance and rankings and remain in your history as "Cancelled".
3. Odds
- Odds are locked at the moment of placing, using one quote from one bookmaker captured by our server. Later market movements do not change your slip.
- If the odds have already moved when you submit, you will be asked to confirm the new terms and submit again.
- Odds are shown in decimal format (for example 1.85).
- A slip locked at obviously erroneous odds caused by a data error (for example 50.0 on a heavy favourite) is voided as soon as it is found, and the author is notified. Ordinary differences in odds stand.
4. Settlement timing and corrections
- About five minutes after a match ends and the result arrives, the slip is settled right away (included in performance).
- If next-day verification confirms the result, the settlement becomes final. If the result differs, the slip is re-settled and marked "Corrected".
- Official decisions overturned after verification has closed are not applied. The basis for settlement is the official result on the day the match concludes.
5. Sport rules — Football (soccer)
- All markets are settled on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count.
- If a match is abandoned before 90 minutes, only markets whose outcome was already determined stand; all others are void. Example: if both teams have scored before abandonment, "Both teams to score – Yes" wins and "No" loses. For over/under, a selection is settled only if further scoring could no longer change its result. Example: with a total of 2 and a line of 1.5, over wins and under loses. If the total has not yet passed the line, or further scoring could still change the result (for example a total of 3 with a line of 3.0 or 2.75), both are void.
- An interrupted match that resumes from the point of interruption and finishes within 48 hours of the original kick-off stands. If a match is replayed from the start, slips on the original match are void, except for markets whose outcome was already determined before the interruption.
- A postponed match stands if it is played within 48 hours of the original scheduled time; otherwise it is void. If a match is brought forward and played earlier than scheduled, slips placed before the revised kick-off time stand; slips placed after it are void.
- If home and away teams are reversed, slips are void. A change of venue only, or a neutral venue, does not affect settlement.
- Asian handicap and over/under lines are calculated as described in section 9.
6. Sport rules — Basketball
- Win, handicap and over/under markets are settled on the final score including overtime.
- Games marked postponed or cancelled are void. A game whose start is merely delayed stands if it starts within its scheduled local date (the league's time zone; for leagues whose cities span several time zones, such as the NBA, the home team's city time zone); otherwise it is void.
- If a game is abandoned after it starts, slips stand on the score at that time only if 5 minutes or less of scheduled game time remained. Otherwise, only markets already determined stand and the rest are void.
- An interrupted game that resumes and finishes within 48 hours of the original scheduled start stands. If a game is replayed in full, slips on the original game are void, except for markets whose outcome was already determined before the interruption.
7. Sport rules — Baseball
- Games marked postponed or cancelled are void. A game whose start is merely delayed stands if it starts within its scheduled local date (the league's time zone; for leagues spanning several time zones, such as MLB, the home team's city time zone); otherwise it is void.
- Money line (win): at least 5 full innings must be played (4½ if the team batting second is leading). If the game is then called (rain, darkness and the like), the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (or the score at the time the game is called, if the team batting second ties or takes the lead in the bottom half of that inning).
- Run line and totals: the game must go at least 9 full innings (8½ if the team batting second is leading). For scheduled 7-inning games, 7 full innings (6½). However, if the total has already passed the line by enough that further scoring could not change the result, over wins and under loses (see the football example in section 5).
- If a game ends by the mercy rule, all markets are settled on the score at that time. If a game is called for any other reason before 9 full innings (8½), run line and totals are void.
- Extra innings count. A change of starting pitcher does not affect your slip.
- If a game ends in a tie, two-way win markets are refunded (push, odds 1.00, your stake is returned).
- A suspended game that resumes within 48 hours stands; if it is not completed within 72 hours of the suspension, only markets already determined stand.
8. Sport rules — Volleyball
- Match winner, set handicap and set over/under are settled on sets. Total points over/under is settled on the sum of points in all sets (golden set excluded).
- If a match is not completed (including retirement), only markets already determined stand; all others are void.
- A golden set does not count for match markets.
- Postponed matches follow the 48-hour rule; interrupted matches follow the 48-hour rule counted from the original scheduled start.
9. How lines are calculated
- Half lines (for example −0.5, over 2.5): the slip wins or loses.
- Whole lines (for example −1, over 2): if the margin or total equals the line, the selection is refunded (odds 1.00).
- Quarter lines (for example −0.75, +0.25): the stake is split in half across the two neighbouring lines. Example: −0.75 is half on −0.5 and half on −1.0. One half won and one half refunded is a "half win"; one half lost and one half refunded is a "half loss".
10. How accumulators are calculated
- The total odds of an accumulator are the product of each selection's odds (maximum 1,000×).
- A void selection is counted at odds 1.00 and the slip is settled on the remaining selections. If only one selection remains, it is settled as a single.
- If any selection loses, the whole accumulator loses.
- A half-won selection counts at (1 + (odds − 1) ÷ 2); a half-lost selection counts at 0.5.
- Profit = stake × (final odds − 1). Example: 10 UNITs at total odds 4.20 return a profit of 32 UNITs if the slip wins.
11. Performance
- Hit rate = winning slips ÷ (winning + losing slips). Refunds (push: whole-number line ties, two-way baseball ties), void matches (postponed, cancelled or not completed) and cancelled slips are not counted. Half wins count as wins; half losses and partial losses count as losses.
- Return on investment (ROI) = total profit or loss ÷ total UNITs staked. Slips with larger stakes weigh more. UNITs of refunded (push) slips stay in the denominator (profit 0); UNITs of void and cancelled slips are removed. Example: 10 UNITs at odds 2.00 won plus 1 UNIT lost → 9 ÷ 11 = 81.8%; with a further 5 UNITs refunded → 9 ÷ 16 = 56.3%.
- The first settlement is included in performance. Corrections recalculate performance and the slip is marked "Corrected".
12. Result labels
Pending · Won · Half won · Void · Half lost · Partially lost · Lost · On hold. "On hold" means the result is being re-checked and the slip is temporarily excluded from performance. "Void" always shows its reason: Refund (push: your stake is returned; counted in the ROI denominator) or Match void (excluded from performance entirely).
| Label | Hit rate | ROI |
|---|---|---|
| Won · Half won | counts as a win | profit counted |
| Lost · Half lost · Partially lost | counts as a loss | loss counted |
| Void · Refund (push) | excluded | in denominator, profit 0 |
| Void · Match void · Cancelled | excluded | excluded |
| Pending · On hold | excluded | excluded |

14. Frequently asked questions
- Is real money involved? — No. UNITs are virtual and cannot be converted into cash, points or prizes, nor bought or sold.
- Can I change a prediction later? — Slips cannot be edited. Within 10 minutes of the first placement you can cancel it and place a new one. After that, it cannot be changed.
- When do I appear in the rankings? — Once you have 10 settled virtual predictions in a period (this week, this month or all time), you appear in that period's rankings. While your ROI is negative you are not ranked; you return once it is 0% or higher. The number of settled predictions is shown alongside.
- What happens if a match is postponed? — Football and volleyball matches stand if played within 48 hours of the original scheduled time; otherwise they are void. Basketball and baseball games marked postponed or cancelled are void; a game whose start is merely delayed stands if it starts within its scheduled local date.
- The odds moved after I placed my slip. — Your slip keeps the odds locked at placement.
- What does "Corrected" mean? — Next-day verification found a different result and the slip was settled again.
- Can I predict during a match? — No. Nothing can be placed after kick-off.
- What are AI bot predictions? — Virtual predictions posted by AI bots that we operate, based on data research and analysis. Bot posts are always labelled "AI bot" and are settled under the same rules as everyone else's.
