This group match looks more balanced on the pitch than the table alone suggests. Al Faisaly have created clean chances without controlling possession, while Al Taawon have often held the ball without turning it into clear shots. The first useful pass into the box should matter more than the raw possession count.
Faisaly's Ersan, Ahoua and Maradona linked up for chances against Nahda and Jazeera, with Ersan supplying a repeatable central finish. Taawon's El Mahdioui delivery and El Bahraoui carry give them a route forward, but recent possessions against Riyadh and Qadsiah produced little close shooting. Faisaly's attacking trio and Fakhouri all appeared in the latest dated lineup; Dorley's reported Taawon absence is already reflected in their recent midfield shape.
Taawon's compact setup may slow the opening spell, then Faisaly can attack through Ersan and Ahoua without needing long spells on the ball. Their sharper recent box connections and the visitors' thin shot quality are why I'm siding with Al Faisaly to win.
