KIA and Samsung enter their third playoff game level, with the first scoring chain and first bullpen handoff likely to shape the finish. KIA have found runs when a runner reaches ahead of Kim Do-yeong and Harold Castro, while Samsung's revised order connected its table setters to the middle of the lineup in the last game. Gangwon can pin opponents back through recovered clearances and repeated deliveries, but recent stronger lineups have struggled to turn that pressure into a second finish. Kuching's route runs through a contested first ball, a controlled midfield pass and the runner arriving for the next touch.

Shirakawa's recent clean five innings and his two one-run starts against Samsung give KIA a useful opening platform. Choi Won-tae last worked only three and a third innings, then went 25 days without a start; KIA had repeatedly put runners on against him this season. Samsung's Kim Ji-chan and Park Seung-gyu can still reach ahead of Koo Ja-wook, Lewin Diaz and Choi Hyoung-woo, making the first relief change important for both clubs.

Samsung's usual closer Kim Jae-yoon was left off the playoff roster and missed both earlier games. Koo, Park Seung-gyu and Choi Hyoung-woo all played in the last game, so Samsung's revised hitting sequence is a current one. The early innings should test Choi against KIA's top order before the managers work through their middle relievers. That's why I'm siding with KIA to finish ahead.

Gangwon's Kim Dae-won and advancing wide players should again recover loose balls and feed the box. Kuching can answer with Shitembi's first pass, Etame's aerial contest and a wide runner collecting the second ball; Peres and Okwuosa anchor the defensive work. Hwang Mun-ki played the full Seoul game but is now out after surgery, removing one proven Gangwon delivery route, while Mo Jae-hyeon's participation is unsettled. João Pedro and Safawi Rasid played Kuching's last match and remain possible outlets, though their current fitness is uncertain.

The opening spell should bring Gangwon territory, followed by the key contest over clearances and Kuching's first forward pass. Gangwon scored once in each of its two recent high-shot league games, while Kuching created box chances against Kitchee with its current spine. That's why I'm siding with Kuching to keep this match close.
