Atlanta's wing pressure meets Cleveland's two main ball handlers and several interior targets. New Orleans and Sacramento both have ways to score inside, with their supporting passing deciding how often those chances develop. Portland brings a wider range of lead creators, while Memphis has shown it can keep finding shooters when its first option draws pressure.

Atlanta moved the ball well against Miami, with Johnson, Daniels and Flemings sharing the passing work. Yet strong outside shooting still came alongside repeated paint concessions and a lost rebounding battle. Harden and Mitchell give Cleveland alternative ways to bring the ball forward, with Allen, Mobley and Watson receiving the next pass.

The continuing depth absences were already part of these teams' latest rotations. My reading uses the core players who actually appeared in those games, with the starting groups still projected. I expect Atlanta to apply pressure early, then Cleveland to keep returning to its interior targets as the game develops. That repeated work inside carries more weight for me than the recent results alone, which is why I'm siding with Cleveland to win.

In New Orleans, Williamson has the clearest direct attacking matchup against Sacramento's depleted frontcourt. At the other end, Sabonis gives the Kings a receiving and passing hub against the Jordan and Queen rotation, with LaVine, Acuff and Monk providing further scoring or distribution. Sacramento's latest production came from several players rather than one isolated shooting performance.

Keegan Murray, Cardwell and Raynaud remain absent from Sacramento's recent playing group. Missi did not appear in New Orleans' last game, while Poole left after seven minutes with an ankle injury and is reported doubtful rather than confirmed out. That leaves the Pelicans working through uncertainty around a center option and a bench passer.

I expect the interior exchanges to establish the game, then the substitutions to put more emphasis on who can keep the next scorer involved. New Orleans scored only eighteen fourth-quarter points in each Denver meeting, while Sacramento retains its active Sabonis and LaVine scoring anchors. That's why I'm backing Sacramento to stay within reach through the finish.

Portland can switch the attack between Morant, Lillard and Avdija, then continue through Holiday and Williams. Memphis answers differently: Jerome draws attention, Spencer supplies reserve passing, and Grant and Post give the next pass somewhere useful to go. Jerome's eight assists at Utah, despite a difficult shooting game against aggressive coverage, are the most relevant evidence of that response.

Sharpe is officially out and was already absent from Portland's last two games. Youngblood's newer official listing concerns assignment availability; the recent Portland attack has already operated without him. Memphis's supporting players named here all appeared in its latest game.

The opening drives should test Memphis's centers, followed by a reserve phase in which both sides have demonstrated production. Later, Post's outside threat gives Memphis another way to move Portland's big defenders, while Jerome has supplied late baskets after an opposing rally. Those working connections give me a reason to back Memphis to keep the contest competitive.
