Wroclaw and Chemik both turn their best rallies from a clean first pass, but neither has kept that contact steady through every set. Wroclaw's serving and Chemik's balanced attack create stretches of momentum for each side. Warsaw's new attack around Firlej and Romano faces an Olsztyn group already using Kozub and Szwarc in its final rehearsals. In that league opener, service pressure and the first ball should shape the sets more than last season's head-to-head.
Wroclaw's current group runs through Kowalewska setting Stautz and Frankevych, with Dróżdż contributing at the net. Chemik has started the same Janicka-led group in both league matches, feeding Sieradzka, Mędrzyk and Orzoł. That gives Chemik several finishing options, while Wroclaw can create its own scoring runs on serve.
Stautz has carried a heavy attacking load while receiving well, and Frankevych has supplied five aces in two matches. Across Chemik's two matches, Mędrzyk and Orzoł recorded 29% and 42% positive reception. Those first contacts are where Wroclaw's serve can pull Janicka away from her full attacking range. Sobolska-Tarasova played against Mielec but missed Wroclaw's latest match at Radom; Hryszczuk and Szczyrba missed that match as well. This view uses the Kowalewska-Stautz-Frankevych group that actually played at Radom.
Wroclaw took an opening set in each of its first two matches, and Chemik has had uneven stretches despite its wins. I expect Wroclaw's serving to build enough sustained runs for Stautz and the middle attack to stay involved. That's why I'm siding with Wroclaw to take multiple sets.
Warsaw's Firlej can spread the ball to Romano, Bednorz, Tillie and the middles when its reception holds. Olsztyn has a tested answer in Kozub setting Szwarc, with Karlitzek and Lipiński generating service runs and the middle block adding pressure. Szwarc scored 22 in the Suwałki rehearsal, and that group recovered after falling behind early in a set.
Hadrava played earlier in October but did not start Olsztyn's last two rehearsals after an Achilles problem was reported; Tille also missed those starting groups with a foot injury. Kozub and Szwarc started both, so their roles in this matchup come from recent court time. Warsaw's Śliwka missed its recent tournament, while Bednorz and Tillie played. I expect Olsztyn's serving to produce a stretch in which Kozub can still reach Szwarc and the left side. That's why I'm siding with Olsztyn to win a set in Warsaw.
