Tampa Bay and Cleveland enter with different pitching shapes: a longer Rays start against a Guardians opener and an unsettled middle. Early baserunners and the first pitching change could decide which bullpen gets a lead. In the other match, KB Stars have already tested their new attack in cup play, while Woori bring an established setter and opposite into their first cup test. That contest should turn on whether KB's fast tempo can last against Woori's familiar finishing link.

Tampa have recently built runs through Díaz and Aranda reaching ahead of Caminero and Hicks, then kept pressure on with the lower order. Cleveland have their own route through Kwan and Ramírez setting up the middle of the lineup, followed by Sabrowski, Gaddis and Smith in a close finish. Armstrong meets Tampa's top order after working on consecutive games, and the Guardians have yet to name the arm that will cover most of the innings behind him.

Peralta held this Cleveland group scoreless through six innings in his previous start against them and had only a brief relief outing since. The main hitters on both sides appeared in the previous game, and Wells also pitched for Tampa despite an older injury listing. The batting orders remain unannounced, while Gavin Williams has been ruled out on short rest. Tampa's early on-base chain can reach the pitching handoff before Cleveland's finishers take over; that's why I'm siding with the Tampa Bay Rays.

KB's Hwang Taek-eui started its cup opener and drove a quick attack through Linus, Hong Sang-hyuk and Tarusha. The attack created points, but Linus and Hong also carried a heavy error load and KB fell into an early fourth-set hole. Woori's Han Tae-jun and Rafael Araujo have an existing setting rhythm, and coach Park has used a setter change to reset the attack.

Hwang and Linus both played the opener, so their older injury reports do not describe a current absence. Woori have lost Ali from the outside role and added Martin in the middle; Han and Araujo remain the established connection, although Woori's cup starters have not been announced. KB may get the first burst from recent court time, then the test becomes whether its hitters can keep finishing as rallies lengthen. Woori have the steadier scoring connection across those sets, so I'm siding with Woori.
