KCC is the champion and the clear favourite, but this is a spot where the name is bigger than the recent record against this opponent. KoGas has beaten them in Busan before, including a 13-point win in the cup just over a week ago, and KCC's good results this season have come away from home. I think the gap between these two will be tighter than the market thinks.

KCC's home history against KoGas is rough: one win in the last five meetings there, with some of the losses by 13 to 29 points. Some of that came last season when KCC was short of players, so I am not leaning on it alone. What matters more is this season so far. KCC lost its home opener heavily to LG, then went to Ulsan and won 97-87, with Long and King scoring 57 between them.

KoGas is 0-2 and the problems are real. They are giving up about 84 points a game, and Aluma has been in foul trouble in both games, fouling out in the second. That blunts the new rule that lets two foreign players share the floor in the middle quarters.

But both losses were close late. Against Anyang they cut the gap to 71-75 in the fourth. A team looking for its first win, with a recent result at this arena, tends to hang around. That is the idea behind this one.
