Lille and Galatasaray present another midfield contest, with sustained visiting deliveries against Lille’s ability to break into wide space. The rhythm in both matches should depend on whether those exits stay clean after the first wave of pressure.
Como’s Perrone and Da Cunha can find Paz between the lines, then feed Douvikas before United’s reshaped back line settles. Douvikas played a full match and scored at Fiorentina, and Paz was directly involved in the attack there. Martínez and Yoro started United’s last match but are missing here; De Ligt’s return has no recent playing rhythm to establish. United still have Mbeumo and Fernandes for a fast reply, yet their last two away attacks created little from open play. Como can keep pressing for box entries, which is why I’m siding with Como at home.
Galatasaray can build through Batrakov and send repeated balls toward Osimhen, while Lille’s Bakwa and Haraldsson look for space on turnovers. Batrakov and Osimhen both played full matches last time and remain a working creative link. Lille lose the box dribbling that Mbappé supplied against Brest because he is suspended in Europe; Ueda is unavailable, and Sahraoui’s participation is uncertain. Lille still have Giroud as a target, but Galatasaray’s continuing shot and corner supply can keep the home defense occupied through the second half. That is why I’m siding with Galatasaray away.
