All their point guards have been out for the league games so far, and the offence has fallen apart without anyone to run it. Braunschweig arrive fresh and shooting well, which is why I side with the visitors here.
Vechta lost their first three league games, and the last two box scores show 19 turnovers each time. The club's own preview and the local match report both point to the missing guards as the reason the offence will not roll. That is a specific role that is empty, not a random cold spell, and nothing I read says it is filled for this game.
Braunschweig have won three from three, including the cup game. Their wins were not blowouts, though: one came in a 116-107 shootout and the other by a single point, 83-82. They lead the league in field goal and three-point percentage, and that kind of shooting will come down at some point. I am not leaning on it.
