Torino and Monza both have forwards who can profit from the second pass after an initial clearance. Alavés and Málaga present a different contest, with wide delivery and the first counter pass setting the rhythm. Recent results in these matches disguise how often the opposing side reached useful areas. The next clean contact in the box matters more than the last scoreline.
Torino can send Belghali forward to supply Simeone and Adams, then recover a loose ball through midfield. Monza's answer runs through Mota or Robinson receiving behind that pressure, Birindelli and Mangas keeping the width, and Varela attacking the follow-up. Torino's recent wins still allowed opposing attempts, while Monza's current receivers made chances against Lazio and Cagliari. Pessina, Maye and Ziółkowski missed Monza's latest match; the returning Touré and Zeballos have squad places but no assumed starting role. I expect a physical match with attacks in both directions, and I'm siding with Monza to leave with at least a draw.
Alavés can work either flank toward Boyé and reclaim the first clearance through Blanco and Ibáñez. Málaga's Larrubia remains a strong carrier toward Niño, but the last-match Martínez delivery to him disappears after Martínez played a full match and was left off this squad; Muñoz also drops out after recent minutes. Pérez and Novoa give Alavés current right-side options, and the side produced repeated close efforts at Vigo despite losing. Málaga's recent attacking volume yielded limited chance quality and its rearranged defence must handle those second balls. I expect Alavés to keep getting back into the area and I'm siding with an Alavés home win.
