PSG have won seven in a row and are level on points with Lyon, but both sides arrive with their best forward line stripped out, and that's what makes this one interesting. Paris are without Kvaratskhelia (a torn ACL, per the preview), Dembélé and Marquinhos, while Lyon lose Openda and the suspended Nakamura. So I'd ask whether a patched PSG front line can crack a visiting side that has conceded only five league goals in seven games, or whether Lyon's real problem is what they do after a European night that ended 3-0.
PSG's side first. Per The Hard Tackle's preview, Doué has scored in three straight games and is expected to carry more of the attack, with Torres and Akliouche around him and Digne covering at left-back because Nuno Mendes is out. They've beaten Barcelona 4-2 this week and won their last three home games 13-3 in total. That's a lot of goals, but it was with a different forward group.
Lyon's side. In our absence list, Openda, Ouédraogo, Tagliafico, Sulc (as listed in our records) and Kango are out, and the preview expects Fonseca to sit compact and try to hit on transitions through Nuamah and Boudache. They kept clean sheets in two of three away league games, but the Hoffenheim defeat shows how quickly that can unravel. The tension to watch is Paris's rotated left side against Lyon's quick wide players when the ball turns over.
