Fortuna's quickest route is a direct pass into the forwards followed by a run or delivery into the box. Excelsior have recently held the ball without turning enough of it into useful shots. Inter's meeting with Fiorentina has a different rhythm, built around renewed midfield supply and runners arriving from both flanks.
Descotte's movement and Zeefuik's linking give Fortuna a short route through Excelsior's defensive lines. At NEC, Guth supplied one goal and 't Zand's free kick supplied another. Excelsior's Heerenveen defeat exposed counters, runs behind and rebounds, making those forward connections particularly relevant.
Ihattaren missed NEC after withdrawing during the warm-up, and the home attacking case uses the service that functioned without him. Descotte, Zeefuik and Michut remain projected participants rather than confirmed starters. Excelsior's Naujoks has returned for a short appearance, adding a receiving option. Fortuna can defend narrowly, find their forwards early and make the visitors turn towards their own goal. That's why I'm siding with Fortuna Sittard.
Inter have recently completed attacks through several combinations. Barella supplied Thuram against Bologna, then Diouf found Zielinski before Carlos Augusto finished the low delivery. Augusto also supplied Bonny, giving the attack a working connection across midfield, the flank and the forward line.
Lautaro's absence is already part of that evidence. Luis Henrique's newer injury shifts the right-sided responsibility towards Diouf or Spence, while Fiorentina remain without Atta and have fewer left-defensive alternatives. The exact Inter forward pairing is projected, with several recently used options available.
Fiorentina can advance through Fagioli and the supporting attackers, bringing their midfield out from the defensive line. That gives Inter room to renew attacks through inside passes and low deliveries as the game develops. Their replacement roles have already contributed to completed scoring moves, which is why I'm siding with Inter to create separation.
