Question for anyone who watches Liverpool or Arsenal every week: which patched-up flank do you trust less in this one? Liverpool are without both Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong, so their right-back slot goes to a stand-in, and that's the side Arsenal would normally attack down the left. Arsenal have the mirror problem going forward, with Saka out and Tzolis a doubt on the right, plus Saliba out and Calafiori doubtful at the back. Both teams have had to reshape the same side of the pitch, which is a strange thing to see in a match this big.

My own hunch is that it matters more at the Liverpool end. They've conceded 13 in their last ten across competitions, including three to both Villarreal and LASK, while Arsenal have let in 9. A stand-in right-back against a settled left side feels more exposed to me than a reshuffled Arsenal attack trying to create without its main right-sided outlet.

But I could easily be wrong, especially if Szoboszlai is fit and the midfield covers that side. Who would you put there, and does Arsenal's back line worry you more than Liverpool's?
