The recent cup meeting at Sajik makes this a more live contest than the league starts suggest. KCC's response against Mobis showed a powerful middle stretch, built on exceptional finishing from King and Long. KoGas has shown it can stay in games after slow starts, and that resilience matters against a KCC side whose performances have swung sharply.
KoGas won the cup meeting here 80–67. Its first two league games ended in defeats, but the score stayed close against Goyang, and it recovered from a 19–28 opening quarter against Anyang to outscore them over the remaining three quarters. Those stretches show a team capable of finding its way back into a game rather than one defined by two losses.
KCC followed a heavy defeat to LG with a 97–87 win at Mobis. Long, King and Heo Hoon all contributed, but the game turned in a 36–17 second quarter. That concentrated surge, alongside KoGas's recent ability to recover and its earlier success at Sajik, is why this matchup appeals to me.
