Columbus and St. Louis meet with very different ways of reaching the box. Columbus can build through several creators and wide receivers, while St. Louis can bypass pressure and find runners early. Their opening goal should change how much space each side leaves for the next attack. In the Libertadores return leg, Palmeiras' compact centre and Fluminense's need to chase set up another contest between wide delivery and quick breaks.

Columbus have Méndez and Rodríguez to protect the first pass and move play toward Farsi or Moreira. Habroune, Tapia, Zaroury and Martínez give those deliveries several destinations; their Charlotte comeback showed sustained box access, while their Cincinnati win showed a corner and a second receiver can decide a tighter spell. St. Louis can still go straight to Becher, with Jeong running beyond and Mățan or Holse collecting the next ball.

The current St. Louis absences matter in those exact exchanges. Durkin was the central bridge and Wallem supplied from the left in their cup semifinal; both are listed out, and Navarro's recent league role is unavailable in this cup final. Columbus already won with Camacho and Abou Ali absent, and their active attacking links face a St. Louis defence that has recently allowed repeated shots. Columbus can keep supplying the box even after a St. Louis reply, so I'm siding with Columbus to win in regulation.

Palmeiras take an aggregate lead into their return against Fluminense and can protect the centre with Gómez, Murilo and Barboza. Fluminense can work from Ganso toward Hulk and the Guga–Canobbio right lane, then attack a cross or its second ball. Palmeiras have their own quick answer through Piquerez, López and Arias when Fluminense's wide players advance. Both teams showed late receiving and second-ball routes in the first leg.

The match-specific Palmeiras sheet clears Gómez and Giay to return from their league suspensions, although the starting side is still unconfirmed. Roque missed the first leg and the López–Arias route already worked without him. Cano and Martinelli have fitness questions, while Fluminense rested several likely creators against Santos; Hulk, wide delivery and late runners remain available routes. Fluminense's chase should bring more deliveries and expose more breaks as the game moves on, so I'm backing more goals in Palmeiras against Fluminense.
