Eczacıbaşı’s serving and range of finishers give it the stronger platform against Beşiktaş’s renewed outside attack. The hosts have recently found ways to finish rallies even when their reception is under pressure. In the other match, VakıfBank’s ability to rebuild its attack meets a THY side getting useful production around Lazareva. Both contests turn on how the leading side responds after the opponent finds a working attacking route.

Against Beşiktaş, Eczacıbaşı can use Antropova, Karakurt and Rettke to move the attack across the net. Its serve has disrupted several different receiving units. Beşiktaş’s answer starts with Buket keeping Atlıer involved and giving both outside hitters chances to finish, with the block creating further attacks.

Knollema and Shemanova supplied the strongest evidence at Zeren. Both scored heavily, and their fourth-set finishing was supported by Atlıer before Knollema and Ndiaye helped complete the recovery in the deciding set. That gives Beşiktaş an actual route to securing a set through sustained scoring.

Buket, Knollema and Shemanova all participated in that latest match. Kalaç’s clearance remains unresolved after illness and precautionary rest, while Eczacıbaşı has already used other middle options. My reading rests on the recently active attacking groups and their demonstrated alternatives.

I expect Eczacıbaşı to apply the more sustained pressure, with Beşiktaş finding a productive spell through its two outsides and selective middle use. That is why I’m siding with Beşiktaş to take a set.

VakıfBank against THY has a different balance. Cansu and Boskovic helped rebuild the home attack at Afyon, with Zehra adding a strong blocking contribution. THY’s receiving arrangement with Milenkovic has also kept Derya and the middles productive alongside Lazareva, including away at Aras. Çalışkan has therefore had several demonstrated finishing options.

The key exchange is THY’s serve against VakıfBank’s receiving allocation, followed by whether THY can finish its own first attacks before the home block settles. Ivanovic carried a heavier and less successful reception load than Cazaute at Afyon. VakıfBank nevertheless showed the setting, opposite and middle resources to recover control as the match developed.

Eylül’s injury has moved the libero responsibility to Aylin, who played the latest match. Markova’s clearance remains unresolved following her withdrawal at Afyon. Cansu and Boskovic participated there, while Çalışkan and Lazareva started THY’s latest match, so the central attacking connections have recent playing evidence.

I see THY turning its supporting attack into a successful set, followed by VakıfBank drawing on its stronger recovery options. That is why I’m backing this match to extend beyond a straight-sets finish.
