Toyama and Sendai both have ways to turn the first press into a box entry. The next ball after an equalizer looks especially important because both sides have recently found new receivers late in matches. Omiya and Iwaki bring a different contest: Omiya want connected possession, while Iwaki push hard against the first central pass. In that match, the first response after a goal could shape the rest of play.

Toyama can work through Tanimoto to a wide runner, with Tsuboi and Kunitake adding a later receiving route. Sendai can go directly toward Umeki and collect the second ball through Iwabuchi or Takeda. Okamoto and Matheus Moraes both left the latest round with injury questions, while Fukazawa's longer absence was already reflected in Toyama's last side. I expect the two routes to keep producing box contacts after the opening exchange. That's why I'm backing more goals in Toyama against Sendai.

Iwaki's pressing shape can break Omiya's central connection and send Yamaguchi, Fujii and Michiwaki toward the next finish. Kato is eligible again for Omiya after missing the last match, giving the home side another midfield outlet, but Iwaki's quick reply and later substitute combination at Tochigi showed how their pressure can become repeated chances. Omiya's Izumi and Carlinhos can attack the space outside Iwaki's wingbacks; Iwaki's immediate response makes this an absorbing contest. That's why I'm siding with Iwaki to stay in the result.
