ŁKS’s new attack is already showing how its pieces fit together. Karla Antunović has several scoring options, and the team’s serving and defense are helping her use them. The point that drives my judgement is how those phases connected against this same opponent in Twardogóra.
That meeting gave us more than a preseason scoreline. Anna Obiała contributed at the net, while Oleksandra Milenko, Suvi Kokkonen and Elles Dambrink supplied pressure from the service line and points in attack. Anna Pawłowska’s defense kept important rallies alive. Antunović finished the match as MVP, with the scoring shared across the middle and the wings.
ŁKS also showed it could adjust during the match. Sonia Stefanik and Kokkonen contributed to the third-set recovery, and Dambrink finished that set with an ace. DevelopRes has new setter and opposite combinations of its own, making the battle over first contact especially important. ŁKS’s ability to create pressure from several rotations gives its varied attack a clear way into this matchup.
