Houston can create through Sengun even when Durant draws the defense. Minnesota has more than one handler to answer that first action. The middle quarters should test how each team finishes possessions near the rim. A lead will matter only if it survives the next good shot and rebound.
Sengun's passing can free Smith and Eason, while Houston's guards apply pressure to Ball. Minnesota's Dosunmu and McDaniels have recently supplied the next score when Ball drew attention. Gobert returned for substantial minutes in the last game, and his work with Beringer produced repeated chances on the offensive glass.
Edwards remains out, but the Ball, Dosunmu and McDaniels group has already created together. Houston is without Adams and Capela in the center rotation that Gobert and Beringer will attack. Minnesota has the secondary creation and board finish to answer a Houston run, so I'm siding with the Timberwolves on the road.
