Gent and Braga each bring several ways to turn midfield possession into a useful final reception. KuPS have struggled to protect entries and second balls in Europe, while AGF's latest match exposed repeated access to their box. Both meetings should turn on the quality of the next forward connection rather than possession totals alone.

Gent's strongest link is Araújo's delivery into Goore or Sonko's movement. It has worked against a set opponent at Aarhus and against the spaces Anderlecht left while chasing. KuPS's recent European games supply a relevant target through gaps behind defenders and exposed follow-up balls.

Gent's replacement back three already started together at Lommel without Burgess. Vergara appeared from the bench there and is currently reported available, while Dean's exclusion is a European registration matter. I expect Gent to use their surviving width early and find further running space as KuPS advance. That's why I'm siding with Gent to win.

Braga can circulate centrally, find Gomez wide and bring Horta into the next receiving space. Barisic's forward contribution and Gorby's change of tempo against Famalicao showed practical ways to improve a stalled attack. Their recent restriction of opponents' chances adds weight against AGF's less effective latest attacking display.

Kahl started AGF's last domestic match but is reported suspended for this competition, while Gretarsson's leave already affected that squad. Braga lose Barcia from the latest starting defence through a current illness report, with replacements included in the travelling group. I expect Braga's extra passing options and later midfield changes to produce the stronger sequence of chances. That's why I'm siding with Braga to win.
