This looks like a guards-and-threes team against a volume team, and the real question is who owns the paint. Golden State lives on Curry and Green movement and three-point shooting, while Memphis wins through the glass and extra shots. The home side has holes exactly where Memphis wants to attack.
Golden State lost its opener by 22 at the Lakers and shot only about 31 percent from three across its recent box scores. Memphis won its opener comfortably over Utah, with 15 offensive rebounds to 5 and far more shots, and shot around 37 percent from three.
The feed lists Porzingis out and Bassey doubtful, which leaves the Warriors thin at centre. Podziemski, a guard, is doubtful with a back issue and Moody is out, so Curry and Green carry the creation with little help. Memphis has Coward and Stewart doubtful, a wing and a backup big, but its main frontcourt is there.
I expect Golden State to start well at home, then Memphis to pile up second chances and transition points through the middle quarters against a small bench. The opener showed what happens to the Warriors when the threes miss.
That's why I'm siding with Memphis to win on the road. The lean is modest, since the injury tags are only settled on game day, so the stake is small.
