Auxerre and Le Mans should contest the first pass from Auxerre's back line. Le Mans can press that pass and look for a wide delivery after the second ball. Auxerre have a more settled link from midfield into central finishing positions. The restart after halftime can change which side controls the box.
Danois and Faivre have repeatedly found Namaso, with Archer another target, and those roles remain available for this match. Le Mans can use Mafouta, Diallo and Bretelle's restarts, but its latest game produced only one shot on target. Voyer and Larouci played that game and are now out, leaving the wide cover to be rebuilt. Auxerre have also conceded real chances, so they need their own first pass and repeat supply to work. The current midfield to box chain is stronger on their side. That's why I'm siding with Auxerre.
