Mainz can press Bremen's first pass and use Becker's depth or Caci's delivery to reach Tietz. Bremen have a direct exit to Füllkrug and later supply through Grüll and Weiser after the opening wave. Utrecht can create from its left-side combinations, while Zwolle have a direct right-side route to a box receiver. In both matches, the first lead still has to survive a real reply.
Mainz's Schalke win showed a clean Caci-to-Tietz finish, but Schalke gave it little attacking response. Bremen found Füllkrug from Hein's long pass and a Grüll restart against Dortmund, with later supply also evident against Paderborn. Mainz's Kohr and Zentner remain unavailable as they were at Schalke. Much of Bremen's injury list already applied to the Paderborn attack, and Lynen's squad return is not treated as a full-match solution. Mainz may start strongly, but Bremen have the receiver and second supply to answer. That's why I'm siding with Werder Bremen to keep it close.
Utrecht's Zagre, Alarcón and Cathline can combine on the left, yet their two recent wins depended on sharp finishing from modest chance totals. Zwolle have an observed right-side pass from Mbayo to van Hooijdonk and another shot route through Oosting; Utrecht still allowed Twente a string of chances in victory. Engwanda missed Utrecht's last match, while Floranus left Zwolle's derby early and is out; van der Haar supplied a replacement outing. Utrecht can see more of the ball, but Zwolle have a direct reply even after conceding. That's why I'm siding with Zwolle to keep the margin narrow.
