Lorient's back three will try to contain Brest's wide service and second balls around Ajorque. Newcastle can bring repeated crosses against Everton, whose first recovery and outlet will determine how long that pressure lasts. Deportivo and Osasuna should trade pressure on the first central pass, with the next receiver able to attack the space it leaves.

Lorient's recent clean sheets have come with a small scoring margin, while Brest created seven shots on target against Nice through Ajorque, wide runners and follow-up contacts. Katseris missed Lorient's last match and Sylla played in his place; Brest have already used Lloris and Tousart together at the back without Chardonnet. A Lorient break remains live, but Brest's box access and ability to contest the second ball make a narrow game more comfortable for the visitors. That's why I'm siding with Brest.

Newcastle generated a large cup shot count through right-side delivery, yet Everton completed three different attacks: George's pressure set up Garner, Barry crossed for Hackney, and Dewsbury-Hall's cutback found Barry. Pickford also made eight saves, so the cup score alone does not describe the game. George, Hackney and Barry played in that match; Mykolenko played most of it despite an injury marker, while Branthwaite's return remains projected. Everton have a real outlet against a Newcastle side that has allowed regular league goals, and that helps them stay in the match even through another spell of home pressure. That's why I'm siding with Everton.

Osasuna's high press can reach Deportivo's first pass and send Moro toward Budimir, but its pressure at Sevilla faded after the opening spell. Deportivo reached five shots on target against both Atlético and Levante through Yeremay and Soriano even with Aubameyang, Eddahchouri and Casadó missing. Those absences remain current and were already present in the observed chance creation; Osasuna's Oroz and Herrando also missed their last games. A first escape from the press can free Yeremay for a carry and a second-box arrival from Nsongo or Asp Jensen. That's why I'm siding with Deportivo de La Coruña.
