Liverpool can play into Wirtz and Isak after a clean central exit. Brighton try to prevent that exit with an aggressive press. Monaco turn high recoveries into quick service toward Brunner. Lille have continued to create from midfield and the wings despite uneven results.
Gross, Gomez and De Cuyper give Brighton a route from a regain into the box, while Kostoulas has provided a final touch. Wirtz and Isak give Liverpool a sharp answer when the press is beaten. Szoboszlai missed Liverpool's last match; Brighton's Minteh and Wieffer missed their European match, though their coach kept their return open and other attacking starters had rest. I expect frequent contests around Liverpool's first receiver and repeated Brighton entries from those wins. That's why I'm siding with Brighton to take something from the match.
Brunner's run and finish against Freiburg were real, but Lille made repeated chances against Brest and Galatasaray and Diaoune has completed second-contact attacks. Dier and Idumbo missed Monaco's recent matches and were ruled out; Lille's Ueda, Igamane and Tiago Santos also missed its last two. Sahraoui is available after missing those games, but the established Lille supply does not depend on assuming a start. I expect both clubs to reach the box, with Lille's functioning wide chain answering Monaco's direct breaks. That's why I'm siding with Lille for the protected margin.
