Two games where the market headline and the actual roster point in different directions. In both, one side has a named hole in its lineup that is only partly reflected in the recent results.
In Golden State against the Lakers, the Warriors are without Jimmy Butler, Moody and Porzingis, which leaves them short of wing defenders and secondary creators. Luka Doncic is cleared and put up 52 points in his last game, and the Lakers beat these Warriors by 22 earlier this month. Golden State's recent form leans on a hot three-point stretch that tends to cool. That's why I'm siding with the Lakers.
In KCC against Wonju DB, KCC are last in the table on a long losing streak, but Wonju are missing both Ellenson and Kang up front, and in the one game without Ellenson they were out-rebounded 50-32. Wonju also come off an overtime game. KCC have both imports and Heo Hoon, and the game should be close through the first half. I'm taking KCC with the points.
