Le Havre have an established connection between Fofana and Maja despite their poor defensive results. Lorient can keep an extra defender around the central receiver and look for direct runs after regaining possession. The key action is often the one after the first shot, clearance or blocked delivery.
Fofana supplied Maja's opener against PSG, and Maja later hit the post. Lorient conceded to Brest after successive interventions still left Ajorque free for the next contact. That makes Le Havre's supporting arrivals relevant alongside the first pass into the striker.
At the other end, Sylla has already demonstrated the direct route into space. Le Havre's recent problems include long passes, right-sided entries and transitions. Seko's match-specific suspension now changes the central assignments, with Sasso an expected replacement after being on the previous bench.
Karam begins with an emphasis on defensive stability, while the projected attack retains Fofana and Maja. I expect selective opening exchanges to develop around renewed box entries and direct releases as the teams commit support forward. Those two working routes are why I'm expecting goals in Le Havre against Lorient.
