PSV's advanced fullbacks should give them territory while leaving a demanding recovery job after possession changes hands. Cambuur have several established ways to send the first pass into those spaces. Angers against Nice should instead feature a settled defensive block facing width and inside combinations. The value of each attack lies in the receiver it finds, rather than the amount of possession.

Costarelli's low service, Hamache's runs and the Bouah–Ceka connection give Cambuur outlets on both flanks. Baouf and Van Duijl already form the replacement central pairing. El Arguioui played productively after his broken nose and is expected to be involved on the stronger opened reports, while Pepi's recent substitute return remains a fitness-building phase.

PSV should press early, with Cambuur looking for direct exits and second balls before adding fresh counterattacking legs later. Their retained response routes are why I'm siding with Cambuur to keep the margin close.

Angers have already moved to a five-man defence, with Lopes and the Camara–Lefort core established. Lefort's suspension starts after this fixture, and Peter is already replacing El Ouazzani. Nice regain Witsel and Seidu as options, while Hein has supplied a working alternative behind the forwards.

Nice's wide attacks will meet a crowded central area, and Angers can release Peter through Sbai and van den Boomen. The home block's recent restriction of Lorient and Nice's exposed defensive spaces support the same picture. That's why I'm siding with Angers to avoid defeat.
