Angers can keep central distances short and use Peter as the release from a deep block. Nice stretch that structure through wingbacks and an extra receiver moving inside. The main contest is whether the defence can pass those runners between markers while retaining its own outlet.
Nice have already completed different links involving Wahi, Clauss, Diop and Amoura. Lyon recently asked Angers the same extra-receiver question and found useful central positions after wide supply. Amoura's corner delivery to Wahi adds a separate route around the settled block.
Diop is in the reported squad after leaving the Rennes match injured, alongside the returning Seidu and Witsel. Nkounkou remains the expected left-sided outlet following the later reports on Abdi. Angers continue with Peter while El Ouazzani's absence restricts their forward alternatives.
Nice should spend longer probing the block, using width to draw a defender out before connecting inside. Their different attacking combinations and later options offer more ways to renew that pressure than Angers have recently shown in their own chance creation. That's why I'm siding with Nice to win.
